JUNE 2023 KENSINGTON HOTEL EVENTS:
EVENT ON MAIN – 6/22
The Event on Main is a fundraising event to help raise funds for the University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. The Kensington Hotel is a Gold Sponsor of the event. There will be food, drinks, music, and an auction!
WOOD BAT FREEDOM CLASSIC – 6/29 -7/2
This travel league baseball tournament will be at Ray Fisher Stadium and players will be staying at The Kensington Hotel!
COMMUNITY EVENTS:
ANN ARBOR AFRICAN AMERICAN DOWNTOWN FESTIVAL – 6/3
Held on the first Saturday in June, the Ann Arbor African American Downtown Festival will have food, music, vendors, and children’s events at N. 4th Ave & E. Ann St. from 7:30am to 8pm.
WATER LANTERN FESTIVAL – 6/3
Decorate and release a paper lantern on Martindale Beach at the Water Lantern Festival! There will be food trucks and music for a memorable night. The festival runs from 6-10pm.
ANN ARBOR SUMMER FESTIVAL – 6/9 - 6/25
Enjoy music, movies screenings, performers, kid’s events, and dance/workout classes for three weeks at the Summer Festival. Events take place at Top of the Park, Power Center, and Hill Auditorium.
RENEE ELISE GOLDSBERRY AT HILL – 6/15
See Renee Elise Goldsberry, the award-winning actress and singer known for Broadway productions like Hamilton and The Lion King, at Hill Auditorium at 8pm.
MAKE MUSIC DAY - 6/21
Performing isn’t just for professionals! Make Music Day allows anyone to share their music with the public with registration. There are 7 venues to see over 15 unique artists starting at noon and ending at 8:30pm.
YPSILANTI BICENTENNIAL – 3 MUSEUMS AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL – 6/24
To celebrate 200 years of Ypsilanti, visit Ypsilanti’s three museums and grab some ice cream from 12pm – 5pm at the Towner House. Tickets are $10.
