Spring Renovations
Throughout spring, you’ll see some enhancement projects in motion! These include:
- A brand-new roof over guest rooms and event spaces.
- Modern bathroom and room upgrades. Room upgrades include bathroom tub resurfacing, popcorn ceiling removal, new towel bars and mirrors.
- Installation of colorful plants at the hotel entrance.
- Two phase spring landscaping project. Phase 1 will remove and replace concrete slabs under our porte-cochere, pool patio, and walkway. Phase 2 incorporates a brand-new landscape to our West Street Entrance with an array of hydrangeas, concolor fir and boxwood hedge.
Move–In Promotion
Fall semester move-in for University of Michigan students is August 23-27th. Make your student’s move in experience seamless by finding hotel suites near Ann Arbor. Helping your student move-in may take multiple days – don’t sleep on an uncomfortable futon in a cramped room! Stay at one of our luxurious suites instead!

Matthaei Botanical Gardens Tour – Be enveloped by nature! The botanical gardens consists of a 3-climate-zone conservatory with water features and koi fish, walking trails, and many gardens to explore!
USFL Games in Detroit at Ford Field – The United States Football League is back! Eight teams, including the Michigan Panthers, are competing at four venues through May and June, and Ford Field is one of the stadiums!

Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan Spring Soiree – 5/11
The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan is celebrating their 23rd year of helping women with therapy and supportive services. Enjoy catering, drinks, music, and a silent auction from 6-9pm!
2023 ChadTough Defeat DIPG Gala – 5/13
We’re happy to be a sponsor of the 5th annual ChadTough Defeat DIPG Gala, which raises funds for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) and Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) research. These are aggressive tumors that are often found in children and are usually fatal. Last year’s gala raised over $1.4 million! This year’s event will be basketball themed and be at the Crisler Center.
Bike to Work Day – 5/19
Get some exercise on your way into work! Ann Arbor has 69 trails covering 512 miles, 90.2 lane-miles of street bike lanes, 35.3 miles of shared-use paths, 8.7 lane-miles of marked shared lanes and 1000 bike parking spaces. Bike to work or at one of Ann Arbor’s many bike trails across at least 13 parks when you get home!
Are you an animal lover? You’ll love Walk & Wag and Run! This fundraiser is a 5K run/1 mile walk for the Humane Society of Huron Valley. There will also be a festival with fun activities for kids and pets. The fundraiser runs from 8am - 1pm. Register today!
